IASTM is a win/win for the patient and the physical therapist. This soft tissue treatment can quickly and efficiently soften myofascial adhesions that restrict movement. The second win is the therapists', because the instrument protects the therapists' hands from overuse injuries that can develop over years of performing soft tissue mobilization using only their thumbs and fingers.

We have a wide variety of IASTM tools to choose from in my setting and I always end up using the fibroblaster. I use it just about every day and have never had an issue with its durability and doubt that I ever will. It is a great choice in order to target large and small muscle groups in the athletic population. In an environment where we are constantly busy, it is convenient to keep with me and it is hardly noticeable when moving around.
